AMSOIL Bypass Oil Filtration Systems & Mounts

A bypass system works alongside your engine's full-flow oil filter. Instead of trying to handle all oil flow, the bypass filter continuously cleans a smaller stream of oil through finer media and returns it to the sump. That helps target the fine wear particles and soot that standard full-flow filtration is less effective at removing.

AMSOIL bypass filters are a strong choice for buyers who want finer filtration and long service life. Current AMSOIL bypass products highlight fine-particle filtration down to 2 microns, efficient small-particle and soot removal, increased filtration capacity and life, improved engine efficiency and oil cooling, and increased fluid system capacity. Single-remote systems add bypass filtration while the original full-flow filter stays in place.
Dual-remote systems relocate the full-flow filter and bypass filter to one remote mount for easier servicing.

If you want a direct-fit diesel pickup kit, start with Ford, GM or Cummins below.
If you are planning a custom install, start with the Universal systems.
If you are outfitting larger trucks or severe-service equipment, start with the Heavy-Duty systems.

6.0L / 6.4L

BMK31 Ford 6.0/6.4L Single-Remote Bypass System
For 2004-2010 Ford 6.0L and 6.4L diesel engines.
Does not fit Ford E-Series engine installations or applications in larger trucks or buses.

6.7L

BMK33 Ford 6.7L Single-Remote Bypass System
For 2011-present Ford 6.7L diesel engines.

BMK28 Ford 6.7L Dual-Remote Bypass System
For 6.7L Ford PowerStroke diesel engines.
Uses a full-flow filter and bypass filter included with the initial purchase.

7.3L

5.0L / 5.9L / 6.7L Cummins

BMK34 Cummins 5.0/5.9/6.7L Single-Remote Bypass System
For 2004-current Cummins 5.0L, 5.9L and 6.7L engines.
If the needed plug locations are not accessible, add the optional BK1104 Filter Adapter Ford/Cummins.

Universal and custom installs

Add bypass filtration while keeping the full-flow filter in the stock location

BMK21 Universal Single-Remote Bypass System
Connects to the engine through a pressurized oil port.
Best for custom installs where you want a remote bypass filter while leaving the stock full-flow filter arrangement in place.

Move both filters to one remote mount

BMK23 Universal Dual-Remote Bypass System
Includes the mount, mounting hardware, hose and hose fittings.
The spin-on adapter, EaO26 full-flow filter and bypass filter are sold separately.
EaBP120 will not work with this system.

Dual-element bypass setup

BMK22 DUAL-GARD® Bypass System
Dual-element bypass layout for severe-service applications.
Includes the mount, mounting hardware, hose and hose fittings.
EaBP bypass filters are sold separately.
EaBP120 will not work with this system.
